I am planning on installing a windlass on my 336. I have a 35 lb CQR anchor and lots of chain. Would be interested in hearing from anyone with a similar model with a windlass. What brand did you find best? The only place that I can install a windlass seems to be between the forward hatch and the anchor locker. Most vertical windlasses are designed for the rode to go down after passing over the capstan. Is anyone aware of a windlass that will pass the rode around and then return it straight ahead to the anchor locker?
