am considering repowering from 4-108 to 4-154 perkins. has anyone done so and can give me benefits, ie, pwer/speed derived? i own a 1981 37 CC Mk V

Mine is still the 4-108, why the upgrade? Have you considered a rebuild? Are parts as readily available for the bigger engine? Will you run a bigger prop?
