I am considering repowering my 1988 O'Day 322 with a Yanmar 3GM30F. This is possible with reasonably simple extensions to the engine bed and compartment to accommodate the extra 4 inches in length. Has anyone done this? If so do you have any comments re the performance of the vessel under power andany recommendations re prop sizing.
