Repowering h326

I'm planning to repower my h326 from 2GM20F to Yanmar 3YM30. :dance: I wrote to Hunter Marine (Al Fooks) but email got bounced. I guess they're busy with transferring ownership of the company. Anyone any idea if 3YM30 is a drop-in replacement for 2GM20F? I vaguely remember 3GM30F is an option for h326 and if that is so do I suppose there is enough space in the compartment to take a 3YM30?

Don't remember it being option but you could go to Yanmar and check measurements and a few guys have up graded to a 3YM like Ed Schenk sorry I am worst speller.
Also how about different props for more power and when did you check clean the Mixing Elbo last,when I had my 2GM I cleaned the mixing elbo and clean bottom made the boat go so so much better power.
I have a friend in Florida with 2GM in a 33 sailboat and when we motored together he did pretty good with my 36 and 3YM,I changed to a 3 blade flex o Fold from my stock 3 blade and so much better speed with it in forward and reverse.
There are props out there that the pitch can be changed for better performance.

I clean mixing elbow one year and change new the next. still a 29hp engine would be great.
