I am going to see a Grampian 34 this weekend. Boat was in process of major refit and owner passed away. Engine is out and gone. Baot available at a very resonable price on account of this. However, I am wondering if the hidden costs will be cost prohibitive.
Should I look to install a sail drive engine instead? New or rebuilt engine? I am partial to kubotas frim past experience, any other recommendations? did original 34 equipment include a shower or can one be installed? The ADMIRAL won't even think of setting foot on a boat without a functioning head and pressure water shower.
