Greetings
The talking-about-it phase is wrapping up and I’m getting ready to start the doing-something phase. Unless my cardboard model fails a second sizing check, a Kracor #4119 will be the tank of choice. It’s 32 gallon and will go in the v-berth large sail locker (yes, some cutting required). Kracor, like Ronco, will configure fittings as desired and from what I hear, they produce a quality product.

3 questions:

Any reason not to have the deck mount pump out fitting located well forward? Specifically, forward of the chain locker bulkhead so the discharge hose could be routed thru the locker and up to the fitting. The original fitting location back near the shower and would be a much longer, busier hose run.

Kracor typically builds holding tanks with a 3” access plate for access and flush out. Sounds like it could be more trouble than any likely gain. Any experience with these?

Any experience with the Kracor brand? Good, bad, indifferent??

Thanks for input,

Brad
