Replumbing Fresh water lines

After a week in Catalina, my 420 Passage has developed a fresh water leak. I am going to have to install some new pex hose if I cant find the leak at a joint on one of the manifolds. I have two questions and also am looking for thoughts.
First, I figure that coupling the new pex line to old and then feeding through as necessary would be best option. So what is the best way to couple two lines together for runs?
Second, If the leak is at a coupling or joint, I cant find it. I can hear it when the system is pressurized. It sound like it is aft of the galley. For those familiar with the 420, I have found a manifold under the fridge that appears to send two lines aft and two more forward to the sink. The next manifold is in the aft head above the toilet. It has lines headed to sink and swim bridge. All these are dry. I cant find any other manifolds. Anyone know? Surely Hunter would not have covered up a manifold... argh

I was thinking of getting some t valves for the pex to try to isolate which line is leaking. Its standard half inch pex. Is this a home depot option?

Thanks

Are you sure you have a leak or do you just hear the water pump cycle every so often? Could be the seals on the pump if no water loss.
Can you shut every manifold connection and open one by one to find out where the leak is occurring?
I have had a connection or 90 degree elbow develop a crack or leak before that just required me to replace that part. Also if the hose gets scuffed up it can have problems sealing, might need to take a part and clean up. In addition I take off a line every winter and blow out the entire system via that connection to the manifold.

Figured it out and in retrospect, I should have probably gone there first. It was a leak in the seam of the 14 year old Force 10 water heater. Spotted it with a flash light after removing the cushions from around the table and getting down and dirty. Had to take apart the settee and also replace the shelf the water heater sits on because it was rotted. So 400 bucks and some labor, I have a water tight system and a new heater to boot.

Hi Rick, great feeling when you solve the problem. Did the same here a few years ago.

Get a 6" piece of pex tubing and plug one end. You can get official plugs or wittle down a wine cork and use a hose clamp.. Pull a water line out of a pex fitting and stick in your plugged stick. Keep doing this until the pump doesn't run. (I also suspect the pump seals so start with the tube coming out of the pump itself)
