nobody know this engine. even yanmar site
did yanmar change the names?
my 3JH5E engine is the same as the 3JH4E ?

Hi Allan HAG SAMEAH do we have the same engine? i have the 3JH5E engine and the manual is it the same as yours? i cannt find my engine in the yanmar site to see what filters i can use what year is yours boat thanks

4JH4E which is the 40 horsepower Yanmar. I am the original owner of a 2006 Hunter 38. If you need any information let me know.

My hunter is also 40Hp boat
But I think its little different then yours,I have the sd50 sail drive _an english model and I think yours is a shaft drive _an american model.my engine is 3 cylinder engine yours is four.
Am I right ?

Oops. That was a typo I actually have the 3JH4E. The difference should be the sail drive. The engines should be the same bolt on accessories. Let me know if you need any information.

Yes. Santa Barbara, Calif to Ensenada, MX. I took delivery in Nov 05 and have done a lot of accessorizing. Everything from anchor to davits and everything in between.
