Replacing traveler sheaves

I've got an '83 Hunter 34 and the sheaves in the traveler are falling apart so I've got to pull them out and replace. Haven't got much further than looking it over but it seems you can just pull the individual sheaves, find the correct size replacement and reinstall. Is it that simple or am I missing something? Any suggestions or experience doing this?

Nope it's just that simple! I did mine a couple of years ago. If i remember correctly I just measured the pin size and the sheave and ordered them online.

I just noticed you're in Seattle. So you'll have lots of marine type stores to pick them up. Just take one along with you and match it up. A lot easier than ordering online.

Thanks Don. You're right, there are lots of great stores within a few minutes. It looks like I could pull them, match up local and be done in an afternoon.
