Replacing Tohatsu Motor Controls

i recently bought a 2006 honda 9.9 4 stroke motor to replace the Tohatsu
that is on my 1994 hunter 26 .will the cockbit controls for the tohatsu ?
work on my new honda motor or will i have to replace with new ones ?
the old motor works if anyone wants to buy it, IT WORKS GREAT!
i just wantED a bigger motor
