The sheaves in my Proctor "gold" mast are needs replacing. The two smaller (rear) sheaves are held in place by a clevis pin, and are easy to replace. The two slightly larger in the front run on a "hidden" shaft. The only thing visible are an oval plate, held in place by two small screws. When I remove the screws, the plate (and shaft?) will easily turn from side to side (it's angled on the shaft, so it's doesn't turn all the way round). I can pull it out, about 2-3 mm, but then it's doesn't go further, just like it was secured with a cotter pin inside the mast (not likely).
How to do? Just use more force?
Cheers
