Replacing the head

Hey everyone. I'm planning to replace the head in my 272LE. Any preference on brand. There is currently an older model Groco installed.

Why are you replacing it? You can get an upgrade kit for the pump assembly. The bowl and base should be reusable unless they are cracked. I think you can retrofit a Raritan PHII pump assembly as I think the mounting at the base of the pump is the same. Peggy used to recommend the Raritan as the best in the business. The outlet might not be in the same place so it may mean replacing your hose if you need it longer.

Dave's right. It's called a Raritan LBA, use your existing bowl. They have them on this site.

I bought the whole PHII. PHC is a compact version.

Just bought a new Hand Pump Jabsco Compact Head ($170) and Flexible holding tank ($250) for our 272. Removed old equipment and hoses. Cleaned and used 50/50 solution of Bleach and H20. Will buy new hoses when on sale? Will wait till spring to install new Equipment!
