Replacing the Bow pulpit

Hi, I'm replacing my banged up bow pulpit with a new one on my Mac 26X. I removed the smoked plastic cover from the bow ceiling. Do I get to the nuts be removing the Styrofoam in the ceiling of the bow, below the anchor well? Thanks, Bob

That should be correct. It is that way on my 26S and the nuts for the bolts for the four pulpit feet were easily accessible. I just finished re-bedding mine and added fender washers to them.

Thank you for the conformation. I guess if the foam went in when the boat was built, I can manage to stuff all the pieces in there again. Great idea regarding the fender washers to spread the load out too. Bob
