Just got a 1985 Hunter 23 that needs a lot of wood restoration. What are you using to replace hand rails, hatch rails, etc. Hearing that some are using decking and wondering where they find it thin enough to use. Looking for help as this boat needs LOTS of replacement trim.

Teak

I don't have any teak except stern seats and one strip companion way
slider but friends here in PG are replacing toe rails and rub rails with this decking material all over their boats and have had it on for many years
with out ever doing anything to it and really looks very good.
I do believe that said you need a good table saw and do a lot of cutting but
once it's done it never needs anything again.

I am replacing some of the trim on my boat as well right now. I am purchasing it from http://www.exoticlumberinc.com/plywood.php which is the same place that the PO of my boat purchased the Teak & Holly sole that is now in my boat.

I sent the guy my measurements that I need, and he sent it out FedEx the same day.
