I did exactly the same exercise on an hun 31. Over the weekend, replaced the bearing, and guess what !the shaft did not pass the rudder, Boat on the dry and no crane operators over the weekend.We ended up dropping the rudder and digging 4 ft into the ground. Dropped the rudder into the hole and removed the propshaft, then used a saw to split the old bearing, used a jig from autodiscount to press the new bearing in (20 bucks the jig and $60 for the bearing). Took about 4-5 hours to do the whole job.I got photos if needed.have funsiggi
