It appears that the engine mounts in our 1982 Newport were installed before they installed the fuel tank on the starboard side and the kitchen drawer unit on the port. We are wondering if other owners have created an elegant way of replacing the mounts without removing the fuel tank and drawer unit in order to get to the back of the bolts. Did you make access holes and if so, where and with what outcome? The engine is a Universal 25. Thanks.
