Replacing lifelines

I need to replace the lifelines on my 1986 Capri 18. When I looked at Catalina Direct, the kits they had were for Capri 22. Do you think I can use the capri 22 kit on my 18? Thanks, Donna

Ah, the Capri-18, best unknown boat in it's class, don't understand why there ain't more of them out there. Anyway, the lines willl be shorter on the C-18, otherwise they will be the same. Most of the hardware on the Capri-18 is the same that is on her big sister, the Capri-22. Any rigging shop, West Marine, or Catalina Direct can make you a set. If the problem is the vinyl covering looks all nasty, try wiping it with a cloth saturated with some acetone. They will look like new. Just wipe in one direction and let it air dry.

Fond memories of our C-18, wish I could've keep it along with our C-22.
