replacing just the glass in portlights

I have recently purchased a hunter 27' 1979. Many of the portlights are etched from exposure to salt water. Has anyone removed the unit and just replaced the glass? I am going to replace a couple with the opening hatch version, but can't afford to replace all with these.

Portlights

Replaced all my "clear" plastic portlights in my 1980 H27. Bought them from JSI Sails, now Sailnet. Still made by Gray in Tampa. Still available.
