I bought new ports (the ones that open) from the website and there is no screw holes on the outside frame. Am I supposed to drill my own or just seal it with port sealant and apply preasure with a sandbag?

I looked for a thread on the topic already but didnt find on

Crazy Dave any help here?

Use Dow 795 for sealant/adhesive.. Port is attached from the inside.. Good to chamfer the outside edge of the hole so that you can get a lot of sealant around the spigot of the port.. then, after masking the cabin sides, stick the trim ring on.. it can be clamped if necessary using clamps and blocks attached with the port open and the lens off if necessary.. This post from Stu's group shows one way of clamping..

Are you in Kingston, Ontario? Don't bed with Dow until night time temperature rises to 60 degrees F and stays there. If you re-bed when it's still cold outside, you will be re-bedding again very soon. Good luck with the job.

Kloudie.... wow..... I feel dumb. That clamp is the simplest and most genius thing I have ever seen. This will definitely be my install technique.

and wait for some nicer weather like Drew said

Thanks for the help,
