We have a 1990 Passage 42 in the Caribbean. The floor is developping soft spots in the galley and salon. Do you ave any suggestions as to the type of product to use. Thank you. Michèle

If it were my boat I would stay with the original product, teak and holly sole veneered marine grade plywood.

I am with Terry on this one, look at your existing floor and see what is causing the soft spots (teak/holly or ply). Are they original factory or has some one replaced them? Then you can make the needed repair. Look closely at the pan/grid where the floor panels lie, and make sure those are solid and not compromised.
