I think I'm going to need to replace the cutlass bearing on my '83 c-30 next Spring. Is there a "do it yourself" kit or do I have to have this one done professionally. Looking for a source for the bearing and the information. Thanks, Jim

Cutlass brg.

I dont have my 30 any more but last year I had my cutlas bearing replaced when I had the bottom painted. I had a bearing so I dont know what they cost ,But, the yard had a hydrolic press used for this and I would think it would be a common thing for most decent yards to have. it took them about 45 minutes and only charged me $50.00. I would think it should be around that price in most areas. I would ask the yard manager .
