Replacing 12 volt bulbs

I can't seem to be able to remove the covers on my 12 volt lighting, especially the one over the sink! Any insight would be appreciated.

Hi Phil,I guess we're neighbors. I'm moored on the Mehad side of Salem, boat is "Aquila". Your message is not very specific, What exactly is giving you the problem? I'm currently overhauling my 12 volt lights so I can probably help.-Dan

Good to me you. I'm over at the Willows, my boats name is "Our Turn". I'm embarassed to say that my problem is simply that I cannot seem to get access to the 12 volt bulbs for replacement.Phil

Phil:I do not know what fixtures you have. I must assume that they have a frosted lense that has a silver band around it? If this is the case, then you can just wiggle the lense off the fixture by pulling down (away from the fixture).My experience with these older fixtures is they usually fall apart in your hands. So you may to be ready to replace the fixture at the same time.
