You can display all the info, plus more on your chart plotter with a full color screen rather than the unreadable Telefkex display.
I have never used the Telefkex since hooking up the engine data to the plotters, which also repeats at the chart table.
I found the menu structure on the Telefkex to be incredibly awkward as well.
