It's probably a size-envy thing, anyway.In answer to your question, the letters and numbers tell a sailmaker the dimensions the sail needs to be to fit your boat. "I" is mast height from deck to top. "P" is height from boom to top of mainsail (tack to head corners). "E" is length of the mainsail along the boom (tack to clew). "J" is the distance from the mast forward to the jib connection point.All you need to do is give the numbers to your chosen sailmaker and he'll know what to do with them.
