My Spinlock XTS (0814)...cam lock for the jib halyard (port side) is not holding the halyard, rope slips. I have a spare cam lock on the
Starboard side. Question is, if I remove the screws holding the lock in place, will I loose anything under the bulkhead like any support,
Or is the screws basically heavy wood screws entirely just drilled into the bulkhead? Simply put, can I simply unscrew the cam locks and swap
them? Any advice appreciated.

Those cam cleats should be bolted to an aluminum plate that is embedded in the fiberglass. The plate is tapped so that the bolts simply thread into it. Very easy to make that swap - just be sure to thoroughly bed them when reinstalling, and apply something like Tef-Gel to the threads to prevent corrosion between the dissimilar metals.
