My boat is 2000 H42, and roller cracked and broke. It's width (not its diameter) is 3", and West Marine and Defender don't carry that size...suggestions?

Although I can't find it in the SBO chandlery, they marketed a conversion shaft with bushings that would adapt common sized rollers to the bow anchor roller. This adapter solves the problem of finding the correct width roller with the correct shaft hole in it. The right roller width is not difficult to find, but the shaft hole is usually wrong.
Before you buy an expensive custom roller, send an email to the SBO store and ask about the bow roller adapter. I know they have (or had) this product because I designed it. Attached is a picture of my adapter after several seasons of use.

Your boat is likely an H420. Our two aft rollers are three inches wide, by one and three quarters inches in diameter with a three eights diameter shaft hole. I need two. Several years ago Hunter made two for me that cost $30 that are worn out. Still looking for replacements.

Just curious. I assume you anchor with no snubber and the chain load is all on the roller? I've always sailed multihulls, and since we use bridle, the roller will typically last longer than the boat. No load other than recovering the anchor, and then it rolls.

I use trailer rollers, sold at many sporting goods stores. If you can not find the right size they can be cut down to size. Generally they cost about $10.
