Replacement mainsheet track/car Any thoughts?

Looks like i'll have to replace our vega's mainsheet track and car, its very stiff now and not very easy to slide now.

So the big question is has what to replace it with i have looked at the barton mainsheet systems.

I would like a system that the skipper can easily slide across himself from the windward side of the yacht, I was doing it this year a fair bit but because it was so stiff and not free running you got far to distracted when tacking and ended up in a mess.

Any suggestion ideas thoughts would be greatly helpfull.

i have a harken traveler......complete with blocks.....that i replaced with mid boom sheeting...... if you are interested.............MINI PEARL V2660
