Both the traveller cars on my Beneteau First 30E are broken - can anyone help with where to find replacements. The boat is a 1985 model so a bit old. See photo attached.

Ha! Are you looking to have that traveler make it to the half-century mark? Get a new traveler assembly, any related lead blocks, and possibly some new clutches and enjoy the thrill of easy travelin'! It will probably set you back a boat buck.

The spare parts site is here:

You'll need to create an account, here in the states you can make phone contact with the in country factory, from your locale, maybe not.
Since the boat is an '85 you might have better luck if you can determine manufacturer (Gioit or whatever) and attack from that angle.
Thanks Ted - thought as much. Trouble is even the chandlers don't recognise the logo on the cars. We are going to look into getting a local engineering shop to try and get them running again which I think is probably the easiest from what you guys say.

Jeremy, post a photo of any identifying symbol on your car and I bet someone on this site will know. The photo you posted can't be enlarged to show anything in detail

And make sure the camera focuses on it! Use macro mode if you got it.

Thanks All

I have managed to find a local engineering shop out in Dubai that will re-engineer the existing cars. And Gunni - I suspect your are right - 1/2 century is a tad optimistic especially with the UV we get out here!

Thanks for you help!
