I am experiencing real problems with the Kenyon Kiss stove.
I would like to replace it. What are the options? I am also planning to replace the sink as it is badly marked by the previous owners so a bit of a revamp is needed. Any one out there been down this route.

There is a butane single or double burner stove with replacable containers which Hunter used in later years for the boats.

Regarding sink, I am not sure if stainless steel or simply fiberglass and gel. I would repair if fiberglass with a two part epoxy filler, mask off the sink, respray with gel coat that can be purchased from west marine. If you want more info, send me an email.

crazy dave condon and yes I know the boat well.

If it is broken, Can't you send the stove back to Kenyon for servicing? What issues are you having?

I sent mine back due to leaking at the seal, causing a fire. It cost me money and was no better when I got it back. There is a reason the Kenyon Kiss is no longer sold.

I found that I do most of my cooking when I'm on shore power, so I replaced it with a single burner Seaward Princess Glass-Ceramic cook top. I use a standard Colman two burner stove for the few times a season when I'm not on shore power.

Defender has a wide variety of single burner stoves available that will fit the space. http://www.defender.com/stoves.jsp

Cephius' solution sounds pretty slick...Electric when along side and camp stove when not. Particularly so because single burner butane stoves are cheap as chips. I got mine at an asian restaurant supply store for $20 and its certainly adequate for simple cooking at anchor. Cooking done, remove the canister and stow the stove.

Kind regards

Good Stove

Not to be the odd man out here ... but on our 1999 H-260 our butane Kiss stove would not stay lit. I talked to the factory - I sent it back to them - with a check for $60. I got back a totally refurbished stove that we've used for three years without a problem. Best $60 I've spent in quite a while.
