What do you have now? Might consider having it rebuilt to new by OR purchase drop in new one from COMPASS REPAIR (vikingcompass.com)

You can have Ritchie refurbish the compass for far cheaper than a new one. I sent mine off to them last year and if it wasn't for the serial number sticker I could have sworn they sent me a brand new one in exchange.
