Not Hunter specific, as far as I know. Google "adler barbour water cooled." Third link is West Marine. Unit is CU-200 Air/Water-Cooled Super ColdMachine Compressor, $1.039. Defender is $975.

We have an Adler Barbour Super Cold Machine installed and I have a question about the screen size for the strainer. Currently there is a fine mesh screen that traps lots of algae-like gunk that clogs the screen and requires shut down, clean and restart. What is the experience of other sailors in warm water environments? I don't want to clog the refrigerator cooling system but wonder about the screen mesh density. What can the pump handle, particulate size?

Tim thanks for your response.
Yes water is flowing. However the amount of algae slowly increases. I'm keeping it running to see how long before flow is significantly reduced.
