HI all,

I have a problem with the stove on a Hunter 260. From reading posts this is not an uncommon problem with the "Kiss" stove. In lieu of sending the stove back for repairs and paying the expenses, does anyone have sugggestions on replacing the unit? I am open to all suggestions and fule types. Thank you very much for any input!!1

Sending Back

Earl,

For the record - we had a problem with our KISS stove on our 1999 H-260 (would not stay lit). We sent it back - with a check for $60 - that included return postage - and it works!

Earl,
Since 99% of my cooking is done when shore power is available I replaced my Kiss with a 120V Seaward Princess one burner Ceran stove top. I'm very happy with this. I have a small charcoal grill and a standard Colman two burner stove that get used in the cockpit for the rare times I cook away from shore power.

Thank you all! I may do as Tom and send the beast back to the factory for repair.

Have a great day sailing.
