Have a 1996 oceanis 400. The line to pull it up and lower it needs replacement. I removed the plate on the platform but it is not evident how to proceed. Any ideas?

The simple approch is to splice on a new line. Splice on a section of smaller line then back to the proper size. That way the splice is smaller and passes through blocks easier. Before I did this, however, I would call or e-mail a Beneteau representative. They might have a trick to make the job easier.
