Replace furling system 1980 Hunter 27

Anybody out there have a recommendation. Just bought brand new Genoa 130% and while furling it noticed it would not wrap to the end. The forestay cable had frayed.

Toward that end, the standard rigging might as well get replaced to. Anybody recommend a vendor.

There are two basic kinds of furler/reefers:

1. Those that require halyard restrainers - Harken, etc.

2. Those that don't - ProFurl has a unique Wrap Stop built in

Your boat, your choice.

Rigging is either local (find some friends ) or on-line DIY.
