Last Season I tried something new for getting rid of Spider's.
I found that the Osage Orange or Hedge Apples gives off a certain chemical that insect's don't like.
The Maclura Pomifera tree produce's the orange like fruits,
( lime green ) in color. It is not edible & not poisonous but gives off a spicy orange scent. I didn't have any spider's on my boat this past summer. I hope to never buy a can of insect spray again.
