Repairing 17' Day Sailor Cuddy

Does anyone out there have a 17' ODay Day Sailor or Day Sailor 2? I'm putting a new roof on the cuddy cabin - the last one was removed - and am trying to get a pic of what the mast hole looked like...

Any image or info would be a great help...

I'll look to see if I have a picture (might be one that isn't my boat). Otherwise....I'll try to remember to take a pic on Saturday while I'm on board my boat. The mast partner (hole in cuddy top) is teardrop-shape, just slightly larger than the mast (I'd estimate about a 1/8" gap around mast). The edge is built up to a rounded over rim about 1/4 to 1/2" high above the decking.

The attached pics may help to start, but I'll have to check my boat this weekend, perhaps I can measure and provide a sketch.

Thanks so much!

I just got back from vacation and saw this - thanks so much - this is perfect! This is exactly what I need.

I was able to attach my new roof before I left and hope to finish this weekend. I will post pics of the entire project...
