large bubble in binnacle compass on b311, any opinions about fixing or replacing with Plastimo Olympic 135?

The compass may have a screw with a gasket or O-ring which when removed will allow you to inject some odorless mineral spirits to top it off. Of course the screw has to be pointing straight up in order for this to work. I used a West System syringe to top off mine. Not a Plastimo though.
I would suggest that the liquid in the compass is more likely to be glycerin than spirits, just a guess.
