I have an Oday 19 that has a crack in the companion door way. The best way for fiberglass to stick would be if I were to turn the boat upside down. Has anyone ever turned their boat upsidedown and if so how did you do it and what precautions had to be taken. The fiber glass reinforcement would be under the seat down to the side wall of the cockpit and up to the backside of the seat.

I have used jacks and screw spreaders to hold up a base to repair a downward facing crack. Use 'Scran' wrap to prevent epoxy form sticking to surface holding up support to repair. Ed K 26

So if I do it the way you suggest I would not have to turn the boat upside down? That would save a literal ton of work.
