repainting name

The name on my boat TIMOTHY is 30 years old. I need to repaint the name and hailing port.What paint and should I use? How should I go about it. Vinyl is not good with the age of the boat. Thanks, Bob

"One Shot" ----

Is a heavily leaded sign painters enamel paint. Is available in paint stores in non-eco-crazy states. If you're in NJ you can probably 'smuggle' some in from Penna.

Why Use Paint?

I used Vinyl letters. It is cheap, looks great and lasts forever.
