The paint on the bronze base and joker valve retainer on my Groco HF head is pitted and turning green. I have removed the head form the boat for a rebuild and would like to repaint the base. Has anyone done this? Can you sand blast to remove the old paint? Are any special primers required? What type of paint sticks to bronze? Thanks for the help.

410-712-4242. And, if the toilet hasn't been rebuilt in at least 5 years, order a rebuild kit from 'em while you're on the phone...not much point in having a good looking toilet that doesn't work.
