We have a new-to-us dink, which is a non-distinct wood sailing dink. It has some cracks in the hull that are letting in water, but had a fresh coat of a very effective black dull anti fouling paint over the nice gray hull paint. I have sanded down the bottom and have been applying fiberglass patches, over which I intend to apply a full layer of fiberglass.
When the time comes, over the next week or so, I need to repaint the whole hull, then apply anti fouling paint below the waterline. I’m looking for recommendations as to which paints to use for each. This is for warm saltwater environment if the Caribbean.
Thanks for your thoughts.
