I just purchased a 1980 Catalina 22 and need to transport it about 90 miles on generally busy highways Piermont, NY to Ocean Gate, NJ. I have a trailer that was used for a O'Day 20 but don't think it would be safe to carry my new love that far. I would like to rent a trailer to move it but have not been very successful in finding a place that has or will rent one. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !! I am also considering buying a trailer and would also appreciate tips and suggestions.
