Renovating The Non Skids

I had very good results with West Marine's brand of painted on non-skid. I first stripped off all the old stuff, then sanded it down with 80 grit, primed and used two coats of the WM stuff. I found that using an old, wide general purpose paintbrush and using a "dabbing on" motion, rather than rolling it on, gave me better results and a more uniform appearance. After two years it still looks great, but I plan on putting another coat on this fall to spruce things up.
