Would anyone be interested in a Trailer Sailer Regatta in Corpus Christi Bay. It's approximately 12 miles in Diameter, with a constant (generally) southeast wind building to 15 - 20 knots most days. There is an island to sail to on the far side of the bay closer to N. Padre Island. It has a beach and great shelling but is closed a certain time of the year for nesting birds. On the sail back you can employ your spinnaker all the way. Full moon sails are unbelieveably beautiful. If you've ever wanted to sail some big water with good size swells to surf and 15 to 20 knot winds You will be in for a GREAT ride. We have an great marina with plenty of parking right downtown. If there is any interest I'll start organizing something for next spring maybe. Put a saddle on that sled and come'on down and ride the waves.
