Removing Washer/Dryer from 426DS

I'd like to free up that space. I'm wondering if anyone here has done the same thing. It appears I'll have to take it out through the topside port locker.

Doesn't appear to fit through the door frames in the master stateroom.

I know a guy who put one into a 41 and he had to do something similar. Just out of curiosity, what are you doing with it once you get it out?

I haven't fully decided. Possible closet. Small sleeping quarters for kid. A lot of options

I was wondering more from the perspective of what are you going to do with the Washer/Dryer? Would you want to sell it? Oh, I also realized the guy I was referencing ended up taking the panels off the unit and reassembling it once he got it inside. I am interested in putting one into my boat and thought there may be some opportunity for us to maybe help each other out. Were you in the eighty deuce? I was in for 8 years, about 6 of that at Ft. Bragg.
