Removing stripe

I tried Go-gone, Oven-off and everything else to take off the red stripes on the upper hull. They had flaked badly on my 29.5 because of sloppy fiberglass work underneath. The only thing that worked was a hairdryer and a Gem blade to start the pull. I'm curious if anyone else has detected the fiberglass problem as well.

I bought a heat gun to remove the plastic stripes, then used a adhesive remover gotten at home depot, to remove the glue, it works for me.
