Last year I painted my wood trim on my boat (companion way door, steps, molding, etc.) In the process I got some seatol on my white fiberglass. What is the best way to remove dried seatol paint from the fiberglass. Some of the paint is in some tight areas. Thanks

Removing Cetol

No matter how careful you are with Cetol (or any other finish, for that matter...) it always seems a few drops find their way onto the white fiberglass. Here is what I've done: after trying a bit of acetone(which sometimes works, sometimes not), I tried fiberglass paint remover -- used very carefully and not left on the surface very long. Only mediocre success with that. But since I only had a bit of Cetol here and there -- on the non-skid, no less -- what really worked was taking an artist's brush and dabbing a few bits of white boot stripe paint on the offending Cetol: bingo, disappears....

The only luck I've had is a sharp razor blade

but since you say it is in tight areas, I don't know if that will work for you. If you can get the edge of the blade under it, a lot of times it will pop right off.
