Removing Plastic Tape

Has anyone have a safe and easy way of removing old plastic or vinyl tape from fiberglass when electricity is not available?

I did this with electricity, I would not think of trying without, maybe rent a little generator, and try a magic eraser, get them from a body shop, heat gun works too, I did both and I would use the eraser if I did it again, it hooks up to an electric drill, ihave a 31' it took two of them

Gas

Try a butane/propane torch with the paint remover nozzle. Be extraordinarily careful. You'd probably get enough heat holding it about 18" away. Also if you have DC but no AC they do make 12 volt hair dryers.Jimh37.5 "Esmeral"

WD40

I used WD40 and a razor scaper. The WD40 makes the vinyl soft and makes it easy to remove. Put plenty on and be careful with the scaper.
