Removing Nilsson Maxwell Windlass

I own hull 5192, 88 Catalina 30, and need to remove the Nilsson Maxwell Windlass. It appears that the Windlass was mounted to the Anchor Locker Shelf before the Shelf was molded into the hull. Does anyone know the procedure for removing the Windlass?
