Removing Mildew Stains from Dacron Sails

I just purchased a Hunter 26 that was built in 1997. There are mildew stains along the luff of the mainsail and on other areas as well. What is the best way to remove mildew stains from dacron sails? I have been told that a solution of water and bleach works, but I am hesitant to use this as I don't want to risk damaging the sail. Also, the article I read did not mention the amount of bleach or the amount of water. What do you suggest I try? Thanks! Don Barber

Don't use Bleach Call Marine Materials Development 781-639-5400 and get thier CS 530 Mildew stain remover. Mark
